MDC Next Gen Valves

MDC's next generation high and ultra-high vacuum stainless steel angle and inline valves have been engineered to meet today's demanding market for high cycle life and performance reliability while at the same time taking advantage of efficient designs plus a streamlined manufacturing processes developed to help reduce cost.

MDC's next generation angle and inline valves are available with either manual or electropneumatic actuation. The valve bodies are designed from T304 stainless steel with a welded bellows seal made of AM350 allowing for maximum poppet opening and greater conductance. At the same time the overall footprint remains small to accommodate easy installation.

These valves are guaranteed to perform in clean vacuum applications with a minimum service life up to 1.5 million cycles. Like all MDC valves the bodies are TIG fusion welded. The surface finish is electropolished to ensure low outgassing. UHV series valves are supplied with a copper bonnet and Viton poppet seal while HV series valves feature Viton seals.

MDC's next generation angle and inline valves are offered in sized from ¾" through 4" nominal with standard flange configurations for Del Seal for UHV or ISO-KF for HV applications. All valves are designed with air to open spring to close actuation.
